On April 1, 2017 the former Mitsubishi Chemical, Mitsubishi Plastics and Mitsubishi Rayon were merged to become Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.

The Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation has built itself into a leading manufacturer of polymer/resin products, based on strong upstream business complexes - the MMA (methyl methacrylate) and the AN (acrylonitrile) business complexes.

As a member of the Mitsubishi Chemical High-Performance Chemicals business complex, Dianal produces coating resins that add value to the inherent properties of objects made from metals, plastics and paper. Dianal products are based on acrylic, methacrylic and styrenic monomers.

Effective November 15, 2016, Dianal America will increase prices of all resin grades up to 5%. These increases are due to the continued cost escalation.
